The alphabet

Let’s learn Serbian

In this lesson you will realise that a lot of Serbian words are taken from other languages (English, Turkish, Arabic, Persian, etc.) and that makes Serbian language easier to learn.

Serbian Alphabet (Latin) 

In this lesson you will became familiar with Serbian Latin script.

The Serbian language has 30 sounds and the same number of letters. Two alphabets are in use – Cyrillic and Latin.

Serbian Alphabet (Cyrillic )

In this lesson you will became familiar with Serbian Cyrillic script.

(As we mentioned before, the Serbian language has 30 sounds and the same number of letters. Two alphabets are in use – Cyrillic and Latin. Official script in Serbia is Cyrillic.)</p>

Vowels

In this lesson, you will learn how to pronounce vowels: a, e, i, o, u.</p>
